1. Use of new permanent magnet air compressor
Our company's deep processing equipment for basic copper carbonate products uses an air flow mill. Production requires 0.75MPa~0.85MPa compressed air, with a demand of 21m³/min. Before the technical transformation, two 90kW ordinary air compressors were used in parallel. The energy efficiency of the air compressor was lower than the third-level energy efficiency limit. After the technical transformation, it was changed to a single 160kW two-stage compression permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor. After the technical transformation, the equipment power was reduced by 20kW, and at the same time, electricity was saved by 20%. The annual electricity saving is 234,000 kWh, equivalent to 49.90 tons of standard coal, and the annual carbon emissions can be reduced by 122.76 tons CO2.
2. Steam boiler replaced with Liju heat pipe steam engine
Our company's production steam is provided by natural gas boilers. Before the technical transformation, the thermal efficiency of the boiler was about 90.5%, which did not meet the third-level energy efficiency index of 92% specified in GB24500-2020 "Industrial Boiler Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades". After the technical transformation, the Liju heat pipe steam engine is 5% more efficient than the original steam boiler in actual use. After the replacement, 23,580 m3 of natural gas is saved annually, equivalent to 31.36 tons of standard coal, and the annual carbon emissions can be reduced by 48.92 tCO2.
3. Evaporation process: single-effect to triple-effect evaporation
Our company uses copper-containing waste liquid as raw material to produce various copper salt products, and at the same time evaporates the production mother liquor to recover ammonium chloride and sodium chloride by-products. Before the technical transformation, the evaporation equipment was single-effect evaporation. The single-effect evaporation process is simple but relatively energy-consuming and steam-consuming, so the technical transformation was to triple-effect evaporation. After the technical transformation, the steam usage can be reduced by 20%, while the electricity consumption and circulating water volume can be reduced by about 5%. After the technical transformation, 442 tons of steam can be saved annually, which is equivalent to 41,400 m3 of natural gas, 53,400 kWh of electricity, and 1,387 tons of water. Annual carbon emissions can be reduced by 113.91 tons of CO2.
